The Thornton Tomasetti Photo Exhibition was created to give everyone at the firm the chance to explore their creative sides while celebrating the aesthetic qualities of the built environment.
This year’s theme, “Different Perspectives in the Built Environment,” called on us to discover and explore fresh, new ways of seeing the structures around us. From a close-up of the underside of a spiral staircase, to a panorama of a burnt-orange L.A. skyline, the exhibition puts on view our interactions with the built environment from different and creative perspectives.
In this, our eighth photo exhibition, we are proud to present the top 40 photos taken by our staff from around the world. We hope this photography gives you a glimpse at what is unfamiliar and distinctively different.
Photography, as we all know, is not real at all. It is an illusion of reality with which we create our own private world.
