Email | VCardPeter Lassetter has more than 30 years of experience leading engineering design teams and working with architects, owners and contractors on major new facilities and the retrofitting of existing buildings. He has worked on high-profile projects in several market sectors, including the structural design of the award-winning, LEED Platinum California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, the template design for three Kaiser California hospitals, and the University of California at Davis Plant & Environmental Sciences Replacement Facility, the first project in the United States to utilize buckling restrained braces.
Before joining Thornton Tomasetti Peter was for 17 years the San Francisco Group Leader of Arup, where he led and coordinated the work of more than 200 staff members. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Leeds University, and is a Chartered Structural Engineer in the United Kingdom, as well as a LEED-Accredited Professional.
