Paul Fu

About

Paul Fu is the co-leader of the firm’s Beijing office and the Structural Engineering practice leader for the Pacific Rim region, dividing his time between our New York and Beijing offices. He has considerable experience in the structural analysis, design and review of a variety of building types, including mixed-use and commercial buildings and sports facilities. Paul’s expertise includes supertall building design, long-span structural design, seismic analysis, performance-based dynamic analysis and forensic analysis. He is familiar with ACI, AISC and local building codes, and he also supervises shop drawing review and construction field inspections. His extensive portfolio includes the 729-meter Suzhou Zhongnan Center, 636-meter Wuhan Greenland Center, 632-meter Shanghai Tower and 600-meter Ping An International Finance Center, all in China.
