Paul Fu is responsible for the structural analysis, design and review of a variety of building types, including mixed-use, commercial buildings and sports facilities, in both steel and concrete. His experience includes super-tall building design, long-span structural design, seismic analysis, performance-based dynamic analysis, forensic analysis, familiarity with ACI, AISC and local building codes, shop drawing review and construction field inspections.

Paul has been involved in major projects in Asia and the U.S., including the 632-meter Shanghai Tower and the 660-meter Ping An International Finance Center, both in construction; the 508-meter Taipei 101; and the mixed-use project Plaza 66 in Shanghai. He was part of the structural design team that recently completed the MGM CityCenter Block A in Las Vegas, PETCO Park, San Diego, Calif., and in Des Moines, Iowa, the Iowa Events Center, Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall.

Paul is a licensed professional engineer in New York. He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Toledo and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China.
