John Aniol is responsible for expanding the firm’s Texas operations and developing opportunities to serve clients while also directing structural engineering project teams. He serves as a regional leader of the firm’s Building Structure practice. John has more than 20 years of award-winning experience in structural engineering project management and design for buildings totaling more than 23.8 million square feet with a construction value more than $3.4 billion. His project credits include more than 13 sports facilities, long-span retractable roof structures, tensile membrane cable roof structures, airport terminals, hospitals, courthouses, performing arts centers, research and development facilities, corporate headquarter campuses, mid-rise office buildings, hotels, libraries, institutional and federal buildings, mixed-use projects and parking structures. His leadership and technical skills have been key in such noteworthy projects as the Amon Carter Stadium redevelopment at Texas Christian University; Dallas Cowboys Stadium; Terminal D at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; and the George W. Bush Presidential Center, Dallas, Texas.

John is a licensed professional engineer in ten states and a licensed structural engineer in Nevada and Illinois. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Texas, Dallas Chapter and a member of the Council of American Structural Engineers (CASE) Toolkit Committee. He has authored numerous technical articles and was a judge for the 2008 NCSEA Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards program. John holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
