Kaushik Dutta has more than eight years of experience in the structural analysis and design of a variety of building types in both steel and concrete. Since joining Thornton Tomasetti in 2007, he has played an integral role in the structural design of complex, large-scale projects. His key projects include the 300,000-square-foot Millennium Science Complex, which houses laboratories, classrooms and offices at Penn State University; Rivali Park, a mixed-use residential, retail and performing arts development in Mumbai, India; Jebel Ali Zone 1, Central Plaza, a 32-story mixed-use development in Dubai, U.A.E.; Kingfisher Towers, a 32-story residential building in Bangalore, India; East Bay, a 3.5 million square-foot residential building in Mumbai; Nathani Heights, a 1 million square-foot, slender 80-story mixed-use residential and retail tower in Mumbai; and several peer review projects in Mumbai and Bangalore. He holds a master’s degree in structural engineering from Duke University, Durham, N.C. and a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
