Bill Otey, a specialist in forensic architecture, brings more than 30 years of industry experience to our Building Performance practice in Northern California. He has extensive expertise in building assessment, forensic engineering testing, documentation, repair methodology, cost estimating and data analysis. He has served as an expert witness in many construction defect cases and is qualified as an expert in the California Superior Court. Bill is a licensed architect in California and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles. He conducted post graduate work in engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
