Steve Kahn, a specialist in forensic architecture, brings more than 28 years of experience to our Building Performance practice in Florida. He has extensive experience in forensics, design theory, construction and project management. He has provided mediation services and served as an expert witness in construction defect, building failures and compliance cases on behalf of attorneys, owners, developers, insurance companies and others. He also has hurricane damage experience, specifically water intrusion and structural failures following Hurricane Wilma in 2005. Steve is a licensed architect in Florida and North Carolina and is certified by National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB). He is also a certified general contractor and certified roofing contractor in Florida. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami.
