RICHARD VIVENZIO

Email | VCardRichard Vivenzio has more than 28 years of experience in construction, project management, forensic investigations and analysis, cause and origin investigation, construction means and methods, and building systems including roofing and exterior envelope. He has worked on behalf of insurance companies and attorneys, serving as an expert witness in a diversity of construction-related matters and standard of care issues. Richard has prepared analytical documentation and reports for meditation and settlement conferences, arbitration hearings and depositions, and dispute resolution cases.
Richard has extensive experience with building code interpretation, international building codes and BOCA Codes, as well as handicapped accessibility issues. In addition to his building code expertise, he has extensive expertise in multi-family housing construction, especially wood-framed construction.
Richard is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey and is a LEED-accredited professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and has completed a post-graduate Investigative Engineers Training Course in Forensic Procedures offered by the Investigative Engineers Association in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. His article “Autoclaved Cellular Concrete – A New Building Material Builder,” was published in Architect Magazine, Vol.2, No. 5, May 2009.
