Ahmed Al Hashimi has 27 years of structural engineering experience in the design and management of building projects in the Middle East, U.K., Europe and Asia-Pacific. He is based in the UAE and will handle day-to-day operations of the Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices utilizing his breadth of experience in structural design of new buildings, renovations and alterations of existing structures, façade engineering, structural inspections and forensic engineering, technical review, design management and coordination, value engineering, construction administration and project management. His range of experience includes award-winning sports stadiums and arenas, high-rise and long-span structures, healthcare projects, hospitality projects, residential developments and commercial and retail buildings, including several high-profile projects. His experience enables him to offer clients bespoke structural solutions to cutting-edge designs.

Ahmed holds a BSc (Honors) degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland and is a Chartered Member of The Institution of Structural Engineers in the U.K. He is also a holder of a Dubai Municipality License for the design of building structures of unlimited height.
