Chhabra
Narinder Chhabra, P.E.

Principal

Mr. Narinder Chhabra has more than 30 years of experience in the design of structural rehabilitations and new structures. His extensive experience in the rehabilitation and modernization of existing structures includes such projects as the Chock Full O’Nuts processing and distribution facility in Brooklyn; the Belgian Terminal on the East River for several New York City government agencies; a historic building at 280 Broadway originally constructed in 1840, and several structural renovation projects for the National Broadcasting Corporation at Rockefeller Center.

Chhabra is also experienced in the design of new structures, including two major high-bay air cargo buildings at Newark International Airport with a combined 380,000 square feet of space; long-span modular hangars at the Newark Airport Corporate Aviation Center, and several New York City Public Schools.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Birla Engineering College, Ranchi, India, and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
