Hi Sun Choi, P.E., LEED AP
Principal
Ms. Hi Sun Choi has more than 18 years of experience in the structural analysis, investigation design and review of a variety of building types, including commercial and residential buildings, in both steel and concrete. She manages projects in all aspects including coordination with clients, architects, and other design team members, along with supervision of the engineering team. She is working on the design of 151 Incheon, the tallest building in South Korea and the performance-based design of Shanghai Tower in China.
Hi Sun’s work on The Plaza at PPL in Allentown, Pennsylvania received the Urban Land Institute’s “Best of the Best.” She has presented “Structural Design of the Tallest Concrete Tower in Korea, The # (Sharp) Star City” at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat convention in Seoul, South Korea.
She serves as adjunct assistant professor at the Pratt Institute and adjunct professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Hi Sun has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Cooper Union and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
