Senior Principal

Mr. Bruce Gibbons oversees the Southern California operations of the firm, and coordinates all California operations with John Abruzzo, based in Oakland. Bruce has more than 20 years of experience in the structural design, specification and construction of a wide variety of structures. His diverse project portfolio includes residential and commercial buildings, performing arts centers, museums, sports facilities, airports, and educational facilities. An innovative engineer with a background in multidisciplinary design, Bruce skillfully brings conceptual clarity to the design process at an early stage.

He holds a B.Eng. degree (first class honours), in civil and structural engineering from Sheffield University and an M.Sc. degree (with distinction) in concrete structures from Imperial College of Science & Industry, London.
