Email | VCardUdom Hungspruke has more than 40 years of experience with the firm, and consults on several Thornton Tomasetti projects in the U.S., Asia, Middle East and Latin America. A native of Thailand, he is fluent in Thai and Filipino. Udom’s design experience with materials such as structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete and masonry, allows him to direct the design of diverse project types. He is responsible for managing major projects, such as high-rise buildings, hotels, industrial buildings, schools, airport structures, casinos and hospitals.
His award-winning projects include the MGM City Center, Las Vegas, and in Chicago the United Airlines Terminal at O’Hare International Airport and the Northwestern Atrium Center. His extensive project management/design experience also includes the Qatar Education City Convention Center, Doha, Qatar; The La Nacion Building, Buenos Aires, Argentina; the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia; Ampang Tower, Kuala Lumpur; United Center, Chicago; Ford Field, Detroit; One Liberty Place, Philadelphia; Saint Joseph Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan; Provident Hospital, Chicago; Bally Park Place Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey; and renovation of Bellevue Stratford Hotel, Philadelphia. His New York City credits include the New York University School of Law, the World Financial Center and the Winter Garden, and Booth Memorial Hospital in Queens.
Udom holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mapúa Institute of Technology in Manila.
