Robert Nacheman has designed and administered a variety of projects, including high- and low-rise office buildings, industrial facilities, parking facilities, hotels, and institutional buildings. His experience includes structural systems of steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast and pre-stressed concrete, light-gage metal, timber, masonry and aluminum. He has extensive experience in the investigation of existing structures and building envelope systems, and in the design and administration of repairs for deficient conditions. His portfolio includes the Empire State Building, Townsend Harris High School in Queens, the Holland Tunnel, New York Hospital Annex and parking garage, and rehabilitation work at 5 Penn Plaza.

Bob is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey and New York. He has authored a number of articles, including “Potholes and Patches, The Ups and Downs of Pavement,” in the Journal of Property Management; “New Life for Old Skyscrapers,” for the American Society of Civil Engineers Structures Congress; and “A Guide to Surface Protection for Parking Decks,” in Concrete Repair Digest. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master’s degree in civil engineering from City College of City University in New York.
