Carol A. Post, P.E., S.E., LEED AP

Principal

Ms. Carol Post joined Thornton Tomasetti in 1997 with more than 25 years of experience in the structural design and evaluation of various building types, including concrete, steel and masonry. She is responsible for reviewing drawings and specifications, structural design, managing engineering staff and coordinating with architects, detailers, contractors and other consultants. Additional responsibilities include leading in firm-wide standard initiatives and involvement in the business development committee and the green building strategy team.

Carol is the Chicago office’s higher education market sector leader and QA/QC manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in structural engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
