William P. Dasher, P.E., S.E.

Mr. William Dasher co-founded DASSE Design (the San Francisco Bay Area predecessor to Thornton Tomasetti) and has served as principal-in-charge and project manager for hundreds of projects. He has more than 30 years of technical engineering and project management experience, leading both in-house design teams (as consultant) and A/E teams (as prime). His particular expertise is in the healthcare field, where he is a leader in the design of new facilities and renovations, and is a recognized expert in the intricacies of healthcare agency approval. His other major project experience includes both new facilities and retrofit of facilities for civic, commercial, higher education and institutional projects.

Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in structural engineering/construction management, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
