Jan Kalas has been practicing architecture for more than 35 years. His areas of expertise include condition assessments, remediation and litigation support for a wide variety of commercial and residential buildings, roofing, waterproofing, restoration and adaptive reuse of landmark structures, design of corporate, single and multifamily residential buildings, school and university facilities, athletic facilities and energy-conscious design and economic analysis.

Jan is a registered architect in Florida, New York and Pennsylvania, and holds an NCARB certificate. He has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami and a graduate certificate from the Energy, Engineering and Policy Program at the Polytechnic Institute of New York.
