Mr. Mark Ellis has more than 20 years of structural engineering experience. He specializes in risk assessment and mitigation programs for natural hazards. His project portfolio includes earthquake and hurricane risk assessments, probable maximum loss studies and development of mitigation measures for government facilities, schools, hospitals, industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, both in the United States and internationally. He also performs building investigations and damage assessments following loss events.

Mark holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees engineering (honours) from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
