Consultant (former Managing Principal)

Mr. Daniel F. Marquardt has worked in the design and construction industry since 1976 and, as a consultant, focuses on business development in Latin America. He served as the managing principal responsible for Thornton Tomasetti offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Irvine, California. He was also principal in charge of the structural design of significant architectural projects, with a focus on cultural facilities.

Daniel serves on the board of trustees for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, a not-for-profit educational organization that includes the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, the Frank Lloyd Wright Archives, Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin, and Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He is a licensed structural engineer in Illinois and a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
