James W. Feuerborn, Jr., P.E.
Principal
Mr. James Feuerborn has more than15 years of experience in developing and supervising structural analysis, design, peer review, due diligence and condition assessments, failure investigations, renovations and litigation support. He has worked on a variety of building types, including commercial, residential and educational structures, new and old construction, in both the private and public sectors. James has extensive experience with a range of materials, including reinforced concrete, steel, aluminum, cast iron, masonry and wood construction.
James’ project credits in New York include the ongoing 130 Liberty Street and old Yankee Stadium deconstruction, East 51st Street and 1st Avenue crane collapses, World Trade Center disaster response, and the New York State Department of Transportation salt dome inspection and repairs. Some of his litigation support projects include the Orlando Cessna Service Center in Orlando, Alfred Sanzari Medical Arts Building in Hackensack, N.J., and the Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Islip, N.Y.
James is a registered professional engineer in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. He holds bachelor’s degrees in the humanities and civil engineering, and a master’s degree in engineering mechanics, all from Columbia University.
