In 38 years of practice, Mr. Thomas McElwain has been responsible for the total structural design process on numerous large-scale projects. He has experience in the design of a wide range of building types, including new commercial and institutional development as well as the renovation and rehabilitation of historic structures. Several projects have allowed him to pursue an interest in the applications of post-tensioned concrete. He holds bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
