Email | VCardPeter Wrona has more than 30 years of experience leading design teams for the structural engineering of major new facilities and the retrofitting of existing buildings. His areas of expertise include design of corporate, education, research, healthcare, residential and light industrial structures. He also has extensive experience working with municipal, state and federal agencies on transportation and aerospace projects including airports and space launch facilities. During his long engineering career Peter has been involved in analysis, design and construction of several intricate projects including Keck I and Keck II Observatory Ten Meter Telescopes in Hawaii, Space Launch Facilities at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, the United States Embassy Building in Bahrain and evaluation of the Space Complex at Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. He has recently been involved in the Property Loss Consulting practice, performing structural damage assessment, forensic investigation, structural stabilization, as well as hazard mitigation and repair measures for existing buildings and structures. He has directed field operations for the firm’s responses to damage resulting from earthquakes in Chile and New Zealand.
Peter is a licensed structural engineer and civil engineer in California. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in structural engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
