For more than 20 years, Young Nam has designed and directed various large and complex projects. His diverse portfolio includes new, contemporary construction, as well as historic renovation, additions and seismic upgrades and retrofits. He has been project manager and project principal on a variety of projects, including educational facilities, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, hospitals, performing art centers and sport facilities.

Nam is a licensed professional engineer in California and a licensed structural engineer in California and South Korea. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Hanyang University in South Korea, and a master’s degree in structural engineering from South Dakota State University. He undertook studies in the Ph.D. program in structure engineering at the University of California, Irvine.
