Director of Business Development

Edward Kasparek is responsible for the management of business development at Thornton Tomasetti. Ed has been instrumental in the development of many strategic alliances and relationships with firms and individuals that have lead to new business clients worldwide. He has also been instrumental in the formation of the market sector approach within the firm’s regions and practices. This approach enhances our ability to provide clients with the best expertise within the firm.

Ed has authored many articles and publications on business development and has been a contributing author to two books on business development. He is active in many professional organizations including the New York Center for Architecture, AIA, New York Building Congress, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, Society of Military Engineers, The New York Construction Roundtable, the American ORT Society, The McGraw-Hill AEC Business Builder’s Forum and several networking organizations.

Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport and has taken several graduate level courses relating to business and strategic planning.
