Senior Associate

Chuntung Tam has 25 years of experience in structural engineering and construction management. He worked as a structural engineer with Thornton Tomasetti from 1984 to 1990 before returning to his home town, Hong Kong, to assume various engineering, construction planning and managerial responsibilities in Hip Hing Construction Company, one of the largest local building contractors. C.T. re-joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2002 and helped establish the firm’s Hong Kong office. He has since served as coordinator and project manager of Asian projects, which include the Taikoo Hui development in Guangzhou, the Shangri-la hotel and office complex in Shenzhen, the City of Dreams Theatre in Macau, and the Ping An International Financial Center in Shenzhen.

C.T. holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from California State University, Fresno, a master’s degree in engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA degree from New York University.
