Thornton Tomasetti, Inc., an international leader in building design and technology, seeks a talented Forensic and/or Exterior Wall Architect for its Fort Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field of Technical Architecture, Exterior Wall Design or Forensic Consulting.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Florida RA license.
• Strong technical and detailing skills.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Ability to efficiently execute forensic and other building investigations.

Architectural and forensic experience in the following areas preferred
• Architectural technical design experience (Construction Documents).
• Developing AUTOCAD / REVIT details for exterior wall and roofing systems.
• Familiarity with Florida Building Code.
• Familiarity with ASTM testing of exterior walls for air and water infiltration and mock up testing.
• Investigation of exterior walls for leaks and other performance issues.
• Investigation of existing buildings structures with problems or failures.
