Out of more than 200 nominations, Ms. Brazil was one of 51 selected whose accomplishments were recognized.

• One of the industry’s most celebrated structural engineers, Ms. Brazil was recently promoted to vice chairman of the 550-person international engineering firm and is one of the few women to attain such a prominent position in the field.
