Wolfgang Werner of Thornton Tomasetti to Address Sustainability and the Environment at Sports Venue Design, Operations and Technology 2010 Conference

What: Wolfgang Werner, Director of Sustainability at Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering firm with practices in building structure, building skin and building performance, will be a featured speaker at the Sports Venue Design, Operations and Technology 2010 Conference, part of the Stadia Design & Technology Expo, April 26 to 28 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Mr. Werner’s presentation on April 28 at 9:30 a.m. and will focus on “Sustainability Opportunities for Stadia and Arenas.”

The Expo’s conferences and exhibition provides diverse opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of the sports venue and major sporting event industries. There will be two conference streams running on all three days of the event. Stream 1 will be Sports Venue Architecture and Design plus Management, Operations and Technology. Stream 2 will be Stadium Revenue Summit – intensive working conference sessions on how to enhance income streams from sports venues, with detailed case studies and examples from the some of the most successful projects around the world.
