What: Dennis Poon, managing principal of Thornton Tomasetti, the international engineering firm with practices in building structure, building skin and building performance, will co-moderate a panel of world-renowned experts at the forum ON THE HORIZON: Globalization Challenges and Opportunities for architecture and engineering firms. Mr. Poon along with Cliff Bollmann of Gensler will introduce the speakers, summarize each presentation and manage the Q&A session.

The 2010 ON THE HORIZON forum will provide approximately 200 the of nations’ leading architectural and engineering firm owners and partners with insights and analysis of major global projects and where global design is headed. The event brings together international trade, project building, architecture, engineering, design and finance experts as a resource for the latest forecasts on global economic trends. This groundbreaking new program examines the effects of globalization, inflation, deflation, risk, volatility, fiscal policies, bank leverages, and how lessons from the past can help inform future decisions. Featured speakers will help identify new markets and how to expand the existing level of economic ties among architecture and engineering business throughout the global challenges and opportunities.
