Engineering News Record recently issued this year’s Top 100 Green Design Firms survey, ranking design firms by revenue from green design projects in 2009. Thornton Tomasetti advanced 23 positions in the ranking, moving to 35th from 58th in 2008, reflecting the firm’s involvement in many large-scale projects seeking LEED certification, such as MGM Las Vegas.

The survey, which appeared in the July 1, 2010 edition of ENR, ranked firms based on design revenue from projects registered with such green rating systems as the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). All information was provided by the participating firms.
