Christopher is skilled in managing and coordinating diverse building trades to achieve a project’s overall goals.

Christopher Delaney has more than 20 years of experience in HVAC engineering and project management. Christopher has designed and specified mechanical systems for a range of facilities, including educational, residential, office, commercial hospitals and laboratories. In addition to being an expert in complex systems designed to cool, heat and ventilate new spaces, he is well versed in HVAC design for major commercial renovations.

Extensive Project Expertise
Christopher’s broad knowledge of building systems stems from having served as the engineer of record for a wide variety of MEP design projects as well as overseeing mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades on projects throughout the New York metro area. Christopher is also experienced in performing condition assessments; preparing commissioning reports to confirm that systems are performing according to contract documents; providing guidance for improving underperforming elements; and building code analysis.

Outside of Work
Christopher makes good use of his engineering and design talents outside of work hours—he has performed most of the renovation work on the homes that he has owned over the years. When not immersed in specs and design drawings, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and volunteering as their Girl Scout leader. He is something of a scouting expert. In his youth, he earned the Eagle Scout award, the highest achievement or rank in the Boy Scouts.
