Cori is known for her talent working with design teams and clients as well as for her complex and thorough project coordination.

Since joining Thornton Tomasetti in 2000, Cori Kwitkin has worked on many high-profile projects in the U.S. and globally. She is an expert in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types. In addition to her technical abilities, her strengths lie in coordinating complicated international projects and interacting with global design teams. Her expertise includes seismic analysis, ACI, AISC and local building codes and shop drawing review.

Diverse Project Experience & Technical Leadership
Cori’s project portfolio includes stadiums, hospital additions and renovations, office buildings, hotels and numerous mixed-use developments, like the Incheon 151 Tower, which, although unbuilt, would have been the tallest structure in South Korea. Cori has led several firm-wide initiatives, including the creation of an internal ETABS Modeling Guideline and a Best Practices Guideline and report template for peer reviews.

Outside of Work
Cori enjoys traveling and has visited five continents and more than 20 countries, which has allowed her to make the most of another passion, photography. For more than a decade, she has volunteered with Canstruction, the charity event that showcases structures made out of cans of food, and led the firm’s New York team for four years.
