Flavio Pedroni has more than three decades of experience in the structural design of federal government, commercial and institutional facilities. Flavio brings distinct design perspectives and multi-cultural expertise to projects of all sizes and shapes in high-density submarkets of cosmopolitan cities.

Code and Performance-based Designs
Flavio has participated in the design of highly customized structures with innovative geometry and special technical requirements for control of vibration and seismic forces. His diverse portfolio of high-profile projects includes the U.S. Pentagon, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and Naval Systems Operation Headquarters, all in metropolitan Washington, D.C., Danamon Square office towers in Jakarta, Indonesia, and several U.S. embassies around the world, including Kabul, Afghanistan. Flavio also has been involved in extensive renovations, rehabilitations and fit-out projects in New York and New Jersey as well as data center designs and risk analysis for seismic events, hurricanes and flooding. Other notable projects are Bloomberg L.P.’s headquarters, El Museo del Barrio and Xaverian High School, all in New York City.

Outside of Work
As a member of the Focolare Movement, Flavio is engaged in activities and events that help to bring about unity in the world, including a high-level debate at the United Nations in New York City. He also helped to produce the 2015 documentary, “Our Journey Towards the Excellence of the Human Family,” which was co-sponsored by the Focolare Movement and Malcolm Shabazz Mosque in Harlem, N.Y.
