Gary Storm joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2005. With more than 30 years of structural engineering experience, his portfolio encompasses structural investigations, litigation support, peer reviews, building renovations and repairs, and additions to existing structures.

Expertise in Long-Span Roof Structures
Gary specializes in the design of long-span roof structures for stadiums and arenas around the world. He is also proficient in concert and event rigging load evaluations for arenas, convention centers and outdoor stage structures. His recent credits include condition assessment, repairs and renovation of the Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri; connection design and BIM services for Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York; and ongoing Louisiana Superdome renovations and Hurricane Katrina damage investigation and repair in New Orleans.

Giving Back to the Profession
Gary is a licensed professional engineer in 19 states and a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Institute of Steel Construction and the Engineers Club of Kansas City, Missouri. He has written several articles about his projects appearing in industry magazines, including a cover story in Structural Engineer.
