“I enjoy the collaborative process of working with architects. My job is to help facilitate their vision and keep the idea stream moving.”

Greg Briggs is responsible for the growth and management of the Seattle office. He has more than 25 years of experience in structural design, analysis and project management across all project types and materials. Greg has collaborated with such architects as Gehry Partners, David Chipperfield Architects, NBBJ, Snøhetta and Studio Gang.

Cultural Specialist
Greg’s area of specialization is cultural and museum projects. He has designed more than 25 museums during his career, which includes everything from the design of architecturally expressive interpretive centers and high-profile galleries, to the renovation and expansion of historic structures.

Sustainable Solutions
Sustainability in the built environment is an area of particular interest to Greg. He has considerable expertise integrating sustainable solutions into a design through the use of building information modeling and is an expert on materials sourcing. He has served on ASCE’s Committee on Sustainability and has given presentations on sustainable design issues at national conventions and industry events.

Outside of Work
Greg enjoys spending time with his family. He occasionally coaches his son Cooper’s sports teams, and they are considering taking guitar lessons together. A music aficionado, Greg and wife Katie regularly attend concerts at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington, especially when Seattle’s own Dave Matthews takes to the stage. He plays golf, is a die-hard fan of Seattle Seahawks football and Mariners baseball and takes the family’s chocolate Lab for walks along the Puget Sound.
