As the director of Thornton Tomasetti’s largest office in the Western U.S., Hassan is tasked with overseeing project management, staffing and promoting the firm’s diverse service offerings in the region. He brings to the position more than 20 years of experience in the design and management of many high-profile projects across North America and the world, for which he delivered innovative and cost-effective solutions.

Diversified Project Experience
In addition to high-rise buildings, university campuses, museums and sports stadiums, Hassan’s broad project experience includes bridges and transportation centers. He has also left a mark on several prestigious cultural and institutional projects in the U.S. West Coast. During his career, he has collaborated with such firms as Grimshaw Architects, Foster + Partners, Studio Libeskind and Legorreta. Before joining Thornton Tomasetti in early 2016, Hassan helped develop a multidisciplinary engineering and design office for Arup in Toronto, Canada.

Outside of Work
A father of three, Hassan stays pretty busy with his family, who are proud supporters of Wisconsin’s much-loved Green Bay Packers NFL team. Outside of his active work and home life, he finds time for playing squash and golf.
