Jeffrey Hu has more than 25 years of extensive experience in the design, analysis and inspection of bridge structures and underground transit stations. He has worked on the Verrazano-Narrows, Bronx-Whitestone, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Queensboro and George Washington bridges, and manages the design of highway bridges. His clients include the New York State and City Departments of Transportation, the Port Authority of NY and NJ, and MTA Bridges and Tunnels.

Bridge Inspection Expertise
Jeff specializes in bridge and facilities inspections, and manages the firm’s bridge condition inspection group, which is responsible for numerous biennial, interim, special and in-depth evaluations. These include four East River bridges and most of the street and highway bridges throughout every New York City borough. He has also supervised inspection projects at the Staten Island Ferry transfer bridge, the Bronx Zoo monorail and Nikon at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York.

Outside of Work
Jeff likes to travel to new destinations and discover new cuisines. His outdoor interests include hiking and bicycling. At home, he finds building craft and 3D-print models to be therapeutic, and playing strategy board games a great way to spend quality time with his family.
