One of the greatest rewards of my job is the knowledge that my work helps keep New York and New Jersey moving.

Jonathan DiLauro performs project coordination, inspections and design of bridge structures throughout the New York-New Jersey area. He has experience with design-build contracts and has worked with contractors on many high-profile crossings.

Diversified Expertise
Since joining the Weidlinger Transportation practice in 2003, Jon has contributed to a large number of bridge and infrastructure projects for the New York State and New York City Departments of Transportation, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Delaware River Port Authority and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. He has worked on a variety of structures, including steel-plate girder, prestressed concrete box-beam, post-tensioned segmental concrete and multistringer bridges.

His construction engineering experience encompasses the design of temporary structures, design and detailing of erection equipment, and development of erection and installation drawings. He has performed inspections of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge spanning the Delaware River, New York’s Tappan Zee Bridge, and the Saint George Terminal piers damaged by the 2003 crash of the Staten Island Ferry.

Outside of Work
An avid outdoorsman, Jonathan enjoys hiking, fishing and skiing in New York’s Adirondack Mountains.
