An avid cyclist, Ken clocks about 7,000 miles per year on the bicycle, including several 100-mile charity rides.

Ken Murphy’s more than 15 years of experience encompasses architecture, Information Technology management, automation, interoperability, rendering, animation and building information modeling (BIM). In his current position, Ken implements strategic development related to BIM, project planning and workflows, standards, training and user support. He works closely with each practice to assist project teams throughout the firm. His expert-level proficiency with modeling platforms includes AutoCAD, Digital Project, Revit, Rhino and 3ds Max.

Sharing his Expertise
As a BIM subject matter expert, he regularly presents to clients, at industry events and at Autodesk University. Internally, he provides regular training and has created a library of custom videos about BIM applications and processes for education and onboarding of all staff.

Outside of Work
Ken is an avid amateur photographer and loves taking photos of his family and nature. An accomplished woodworker, he enjoys making children’s furniture, especially when it originates from a 3D model. He also finds time for cycling and has completed three 100-mile rides for charities in 2014.
