Lance Parker joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2001, with diverse experience in commercial architecture. During his early career, Lance worked at traditional architectural and architectural/engineering firms, but for the past decade he has been involved the technical aspects of architecture, as well as forensic and investigative projects. His lengthy list of work – primarily in Chicago – encompasses building façade evaluations and repair programs, due diligence and condition assessments, and renovations and restorations.

Technical Contributions and Expertise
Lance is an award-winning author of several technical papers on building skin evaluation and repair. He is a voting member of the Structural Engineering Institute-American Society of Civil Engineers’ Standards Committee for Structural Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation of Buildings. A registered California Emergency Management Agency Safety Assessment Program Evaluator, he is also skilled in post-earthquake building assessment.
