Peter Wrona has more than 34 years of experience in structural engineering analysis, design and management for major new facilities and for retrofits to existing buildings. His expertise is in structural damage assessment, forensic investigation and structural stabilization, as well as hazard mitigation and repair measures; his portfolio includes corporate, educational, research, healthcare, residential and light industrial structures. Peter has directed field operations for the Property Loss Consulting practice’s responses to damage resulting from earthquakes in Chile and New Zealand.

Wide and Deep Expertise in Aerospace
Peter has extensive experience working with municipal, state and federal agencies on transportation and aerospace projects, including airports and space launch facilities. While previously working for DASSE Design for three decades (Thornton Tomasetti bought the structural engineering firm in 2009), he managed high-profile efforts in that sector. Highlights are the analysis, design and construction of twin telescopes at W.M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii, space launch facilities at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and the evaluation of the space launch complex at Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
