A leader in the Property Loss Consulting practice, Vincent Fratinardo specializes in cause and origin investigations, condition assessments, emergency responses and scope of damage and construction defect evaluations. His work spans across all building types, from commercial and residential to industrial and government facilities. He has provided field management and technical due diligence for large-scale global projects as well as small, yet challenging, assignments.

Emergency Response Expertise
For more than a dozen years, Vincent has performed property loss evaluations of structures following large catastrophic events, including named storms Irene, Sandy, Matthew, Harvey, and Irma as well as some 24 different tornado events. He also has considerable experience in the examination of alleged deficiencies in installations, reconstruction and design.

Contributions to the Profession
Vincent is a frequent speaker on structural engineering topics, including wood design, ASCE 7-16 standard on minimum design loads and associated criteria for buildings and the 2018 edition of the International Building Code. He is an active continuing education instructor throughout the U.S. Midwest.

Outside of Work
A resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, he enjoys spending time with his wife and preschool-age twin sons. Vincent also likes perfecting his construction skills by tackling home improvement projects.
