Confidential Financial Services Data Center
Thornton Tomasetti was retained by the client to provide structural engineering services for a new data center with back-up trading facility in New Jersey.
The project included the renovation of an existing warehouse and the construction of a new 240,000-square-foot, two-story expansion adjacent to the existing facility. The one-story, 234,000-square-foot existing warehouse building was renovated to function as the infrastructure support space for the raised floor in the new building and included the addition of a rooftop screened enclosure to house an air-cooled chiller plant.
