Thornton Tomasetti provided structural design services for a new two-story, 110,000-square-foot data center including a screened-in utility yard and separate generator building.
The project contains 20,000 square feet of raised floor and it is expected to achieve LEED certification. The current building is master planned to increase in size to 175,000 square feet.
Thornton Tomasetti successfully delivered the structure on time and under budget by issuing the structural bid documents prior to the design team completed the design development documentation.
