Contra Costa College is in the process of building upon its campus with the addition of a new Classroom Building and Student Activities Complex.

The Classroom Building is a 52,000-square-foot, three-story structure housing four computer labs, 11 classrooms, faculty offices and a 200-seat tiered lecture hall. The Student Activities Complex consists of the 47,000-square-foot, two-story main Student Activities Building and the 3,200-square-foot Fireside Building for college and community use. This complex houses multiple faculty and student offices, the culinary arts program, a dining hall, and the campus bookstore.

Thornton Tomasetti provided structural design for all three steel-frame buildings laterally supported by special concentric steel braced frames.
