Thornton Tomasetti provided structural design services for this award-winning 280-foot-tall residential development that showcases 25 stories of exposed structure and an exterior curtain wall comprised of steel, glass and mirror. Adjacent to the tower is a five-story, low-rise parking structure.

The superstructure features three-story-high steel braces – expressed on the exterior of the north-south direction of the building – to resist the lateral loads. The steel-framing scheme provided superior strength and cost-effectiveness. Showcasing the structural braces and framing gives the design a light and elegant appearance, making the structure distinctive in a forest of concrete buildings.
