Located at the edge of downtown Denver, the Pepsi Center is home to the
NBA Denver Nuggets and NHL Colorado Avalanche. The facility also hosts
concerts, arena football and indoor lacrosse. Thornton Tomasetti worked with
the architect to develop a circular roof-column layout for the arena that
created a unique 450-foot-span, tied-arch roof requiring only 17 psf of steel.
