This two-story building complex houses science laboratories, classrooms, a library, and administrative offices and is the centerpiece of the new San Ramon campus. Future buildings will include additional classroom buildings, a community center, a senior center, as well as retail spaces.

The San Ramon Center provides 64,300 square feet of space and features open exterior corridors and steep pitched roofs. The large space enclosed by the pitched roofs creates space to house mechanical equipment. The buildings’ structural systems consist of a structural steel frame, with concrete fill over composite steel deck floor construction and metal deck without concrete fill for the roofs. The lateral force resisting system features special concentric braced steel frames. Because of space constraints, special moment resisting frames were used to provide lateral support for administrative offices.
