Thornton Tomasetti is providing structural engineering for the Shanghai Taipingqiao Lot 126 and 127. The development comprises two 132.95-meter tall, LEED-certified office buildings and a retail podium, in addition to featuring a green roof, a 160-foot-long-span pedestrian bridge, a roof skylight and curtain wall support for a three-story unbraced main entrance.

The structure has a 28-story concrete shear wall core and perimeter moment frames that resist wind and seismic loadings. The foundation system consists of mat on pile foundation and concrete basement levels with slurry wall construction.
