Thornton Tomasetti can create a 3D model of cast-in-place concrete in Tekla or Advance Concrete software. Volumetric concrete members and reinforcing steel can be modeled, delivering a model that can be used by the contractor for coordination between trades, quantity take-offs, scheduling and tracking purposes throughout the project. Thornton Tomasetti can further develop the model to provide reinforcement layout drawings and shop fabrication drawings showing reinforcing marks, specific bend types and fabrication quantities.
